Ms. Fujiko Suenaga
Ms. Seiko Ogata, and Satoshi-chan—the three of them
Came to visit Miyazaki (traveling from Miyazaki Kūukō Station to Yamakataya)
And visited the venue of my solo exhibition
They purchased:
“Mountain of Faith: Mt. Shaka / Mt. Hō…dake”
“Mulberry Fields and White Walls (Wuxi)”
The white wall bore the inscription “Agriculture… Dazhai”
(or something similar), though the paint had already faded
A trip to China in late March 1979
Around 1977, one saw this phrase (slogan)
On walls everywhere
I had passed south of Lake Tai during the war with China—”Preparing for Departure”
My first independent exhibition selection was a record of horses in this area
